Hello Samford Admissions,

Thanks again for taking the time to meet with us last week. As promised, here's some information that will likely help you get a good idea for the budget range you're hoping to live within. â€‹

At Six Foot Five we pride ourselves on being very versatile, which means we're able to produce top-shelf quality content at most every budget level. The "creative" always dictates the budget...however if we have a good understanding of what kind of budget you're wanting to live in, then we can pitch you "creative" that will fit.

In the past we've loved every project we've gotten to do with Samford, and I'm looking forward to hopefully getting to do another one soon.

Please take some time to go through this "menu." These are the types of productions that I think will work good to help you guys promote everything you're doing with Samford Online.

Live Action

This style of video is more like a movie shoot. It is the high-end production where you get exactly what you want because it offers the most control. Every shot is planned, every line written, work with professional actors, and/or the actual personalities. Every little detail is looked over with a fine tooth comb even before the camera comes out of the bag.

If emotional response is the only thing that matters, this style of production offers you the most "sure" opportunity to make that connection.

The price tag on a project like this is hard to determine until the script is finished. It all comes down to how long does our idea take to shoot, pedigree of actors wanted, etc. But you can expect something like this to be $50k+

Avadian hired us to create a series of emotional spots for TV. More info on this series - here

This is a TV commercial we created for Alabama Power.

Valvoline asked us to create a series of videos promoting their professional services. This is one of the spots from that series.

Documentary Brand

I understand you already have a few videos that are documentary style for Samford Online. We've shot our fair share of interview / documentary style videos for other brands. We've even shot a couple of these for Samford. A video like this can be very effective because it shows and features real people with real testimonies.

The cost of a video like this is determined on how many days it takes us to shoot all the footage, Typically this style runs anywhere from $25-50k for a two to three day shoot and includes post.

SPOC Automation created a video for a recruitment tool but it also double for a marketing piece.

The good folks at McWhorter School of Pharmacy asked us to create a spot that featured some of their graduates.

Creature asked us to help them create a video that illustrates how they are approaching construction in a revolutionary way.

"Talking Head" Studio Interviews

For "Talking Head" Interview Videos, we work hard to weave a creative thread that would tie all of our stories together…and then interview a bunch of different people in the same studio location in one day. If student testimonials and success stories are what you want to focus on, this style video can be very cost effective because you can shoot a ton of content in a single day.

This type runs from $20 to 40k.

Most of these "talking head" videos usually only require one day of shooting because there is no b-roll needed for it.

Here are a few examples of videos we've created in this style:

Jeff State wanted at TV spot that helped them promote their school, while at the same time celebrating the diversity of their student body.

JeffCo Schools wanted a video to talk about how they are trying to meet the needs of each student.

JeffCo Schools wanted a video to talk about how they are trying to meet the needs of each student.

Animation / GFX

This type of production, again, allows for us to control everything completely. These types of videos revolve around the script, and great motion design. We would build these spots to reflect your website and brand. This is a great way to communicate information in a cost effective way and still look super professional. Some of these type videos go very well with footage or pictures, we could always shoot this stuff. But, it should be mentioned that we could utilize footage and pictures in this style to help keep costs down.

This style video is typically the most economical from the budget standpoint. You can expect a 30s spot in this style to be between $12k - 20k (if we don't have to shoot anything).

This type of video is something we’ve done a few times:

We all love this one that has the most buttery voice over I've ever heard.

What is BLOX? This video will tell you.

Radical hired us to make a video for them that explained the many facets of their ministry.

Compassion International asked us to help them explain how they partner with churches all over the USA.

Thanks For Your Time

We're really good at doing any of these styles...OR really anything you can dream up. I really appreciate you guys asking us to be apart of this conversation. Let us know which style you're thinking will suit your needs best, and we'll get started dreaming up some concepts.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to either me or Audra, our producer. Also, if you'd like to see more examples of anything else, let me know. We've got more to show.

Thanks again,
