First off, I just wanted to say thank you so much for reaching out to us about your upcoming development and project. As a Hoover resident, it is always wonderful when we have the opportunity to create something that will help uplift and bolster our community.
I know that currently you are still discussing what exactly you would like to create and have in your arsenal of assets, but I wanted to show you a brief overview of some of the work and the budget ranges in which these type of projects lived. Like I mentioned yesterday, please let this webpage and numbers serve as a jumping off point for discussion. These budget numbers are very broad to give you a range in which videos, like the ones below, typically live in. Depending on the creative, number of talent, deliverables, etc. the budget can move and flow to fit your needs. Like I mentioned yesterday, we really do want to make sure you have absolutely everything you need to be successful and fit within the budget you'd like to maintain.
That being said, I will let the work speak for itself. So here goes....
Powell Avenue
Steam Plant
This type of video will run anywhere from $40-60k depending on how much 3D animation you'd like in your pieces.
The Preserves by Alabama Power Company Shorelines
A video like this will run you around $20-35k. This video had a full buy-out from professional talent and a medium sized crew with a drone.
Avadian Credit Union
This video style has a wide range of numbers because so much of it was custom (music, art, professional actors, projected images from what we filmed a week before, etc). That being said, creating something like this can run from $60-100k+.
McWhorter School of Pharmacy
This video was filmed with a medium crew and was $15-20k.
Samford ESPN
This video style costs around $12-18k. Samford found talent to use for free. It was two days of filming with a small crew.
Photography
We're recommending that our photographer be Eric Chapman. He's local to Birmingham, and he's shot photography on quite a few of our productions. Here are a few pictures from his portfolio that work well with this project. Depending on rights and usage, photography (whether him or someone else) will run you around $3-10k.
Thanks For Your Time
I am looking forward to connecting with you again next week. In the mean time, if you need anything or have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
Thanks again,
Audra Whaley
