Rwanda Speaker Vision Trip

Treatment by: Taylor Robinson

Hi Karen and Maddy,

I hope you are all doing well. Maddy,  first off, I want to thank you for giving us a seat at this table. I am very excited about the possibility of getting to help you guys tell the journey and excitement of Preston and Jakie Hill Perry's trip to meet their sponsor child in Rwanda. I do not take it for granted that you trusted us enough to give us a shot at creative for this project.

We have had the honor of creating a number of these videos for Compassion. I really believe that Six Foot Five will make a great partner for you in creating all of this content.

We created this webpage to serve as a taste of who we are and what we are capable of. As you look through this, please feel free to let us know if you have any questions.

beautiful visuals

Telling a story well and making it visually beautiful is where the magic happens.

We bring the highest level of production value to all of our shoots. We’ve become masters at stretching budget dollars as far as we can, while at the same time keeping the quality as high as possible.

Over the past decade, we've become experts at shooting beautiful, cinematic, live-action content all over the world. Most of the time this has to happen in situations less than optimal for high-level production. The secret is having an experienced, talented, and versatile crew. Sound. Lighting. Camera. Direction. Etc. We have a stable full of talented, experienced crew personnel that as the director I would pick from to go with us.

We want to tell the story we're filming as beautifully as possible.

I could write more words about our visuals, but they should be able to speak for themselves. Here's a short demo reel I cut of some of the most beautiful stuff we've shot with Compassion.

the ultimate goal

Yes, these videos will be beautiful. Yes, we will tell the stories therein extremely well.

But ultimately, we want to see thousands of kids get sponsored, stay sponsored, and be loved well by their sponsors.  Knowing that is our ultimate goal, will help us to make each and every decision well. Obviously, our team will work closely with your's to make sure we're aiming at the perfect bullseye.

As we are capturing the moments with Preston and Jackie, we will be paying careful attention to all of the details that help the audience understand the role that THEY can play in the life of a child living in poverty. We don't want to JUST tell a story well, we want to do it in a way that shows our audience the kind of impact they can and do make in the life of a child.

I call this "putting a mirror in the story." While our audience is watching our videos, we want them to see themselves in the story. Somehow. Somewhere.

Proof for the pudding

You've read a lot about our ability to pull this project off, but our previous work should speak for itself. Below are a few spots we've created for Compassion in the past as well as the person at Compassion who we worked with. Please feel free to reach out to them about what it was like working with us.

Set Her Free was a campaign we did with Compassion and Lifeway to be used at the Living Proof Ministry Live Events. This is the main piece for the Conference we created for Shannon Kozee.

(skozee@us.ci.org)

This is the ancillary piece we created to go with the Living Proof Live Video (used for follow up after the event).

This video was created with Michael Collins about the Bolin Family's trips with Compassion and the way it impacts their ministry called The Thorn.

(MCollins@us.ci.org)

This was a video was created with Nate Ernsberger about Candace Cameron Bure's trip to Santiago. (NErnsberger@us.ci.org)

We have many more examples we could show you of the work we have done for multiple organizations all over the globe, including Compassion. If you'd like to see more please let me know and I'll send it your way. We have also done a number of projects with Ben Rough and Bob Craddock.

Finally, here are some stills we've shot for Compassion in the past.

Thanks for your time

Again, thank so much for giving us the opportunity to pitch on this project. I believe our team is uniquely positioned to step in and knock this specific project out of the park for you.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to either me or our producer, Audra Whaley.

Thanks again,
